error? - Guild Wars Forums

i just got my guildwars copy and i installed it and i made an account.

well here is the point, i choose pve character and it says the following : there is no event. And i can't play now, nor can i play with a pvp character.

anybody got an idea?

The game dosnt come out till thursday, unless u preorder then u can play on wensday. Not sure about the pve and pvp ones theres alot of debate about if you can make a pvp only when it is realised!

Don't know why there is debate about the PvP characters ... it was quite clearly confirmed that they will be available in the release version of the game in the Fansite Friday interview of last week.

As for the specific question of this thread:

You have received your copy of the game early. The servers will be open for preorder customers starting 12:01am Seattle time Wednesday, and for other customers from 12:01am Seattle time Thursday.
